Oh my god

Right so I saw Dan and Phil live for the second time in October and it was so beautiful and sweet and kind!!!!! They're honestly such good live performers. I feel like they've created a weird bard-class of occupation that was previously nonexistent in modern life. Like, they're not really doing theater. They're not really doing standup. It's a sort of cult of personality turned stage show. I can't imagine walking into that show knowing nothing about who they are or what's happened in the past decade. Christ.

They're sort of insane and also so important to me. The main feeling I had at their most recent tour was oh my god those are gay guys. I can also be a gay guy. That's insane I'm so happy!!!!


QUICK FACTS

  1. I've been watching Dan and Phil since 2017. At the time, that was very late to join in! Their peak was sort of around 2014, so I felt like I'd missed out. Turns out it was as good a time as any though because now I've been watching them for like eight years. Oh my god.
  2. I've seen DNP live twice: I saw Interactive Introverts in August of 2018 and I saw the Terrible Influence Tour in October of 2024!
  3. I think parasocial relationships are utterly fascinating and I have been working on a big project that might turn into a zine at some point about celebrities and gay speculation and parasocial relationships!!!!!
